Josh Allen and Travis Kelce have a few things in common.
They’re both NFL superstars with pop star significant others. The Bills QB and Hailee Steinfeld will never be as high profile as the Chiefs TE and Taylor Swift, but there’s some overlap.
Kansas City and Kelce are a bit of a nemesis for Buffalo and Allen, having made a habit of knocking them out of the playoffs.
And new information suggests Allen is just fine not replicating Kelce and Swift.
Here’s how everything was reported in The Daily Mail:
An insider told Daily Mail: ‘Besides being at any of her premieres or anything else to support her, Josh and Hailee aren’t going to be seen a lot going out to dinner and parading themselves around like Taylor and Travis do.
‘Josh will take it as it comes, as winning the Super Bowl is the goal. Everything else can come second. If the Bills were to finally win the Super Bowl, it would take him into a stratosphere even he might not be ready for.
‘He doesn’t assume that it will get to the levels of Taylor or Travis though, because Taylor is so popular… Plus, Travis is toward the end of his career, whereas Josh has a long way to go.’
The source continued, stressing: ‘He is going to remain mostly on the sidelines for things that would make his status and fame more with Hailee.’
There’s really only one thing Allen wants to do that Kelce has already done multiple times: Win the Super Bowl.
If Allen can do that, and has Steinfeld by his side to celebrate with, he’ll be a very happy man.
