Dallas Cowboys 2025 NFL Mock Draft

The Dallas Cowboys enter the 2025 NFL Draft in an interesting place. They have cut Ezekiel Elliott and lost Dalton Schultz in free agency, creating holes on offense. They could also use some valuable additions on defense. So, which do they address first?

With Elliott now gone, there is the spot at running back alongside Tony Pollard that is open now. Pollard is an explosive back with his athleticism, but not exactly a bell cow back. That is where Robinson comes into play with his ability to pick up the short yards and grind through contact with his three-down skill set. In back-to-back seasons, Robinson had over 1,000 rushing yards, averaged over 10 yards per reception, and finished with double-digit touchdowns. He would be able to provide what Elliott did alongside Pollard, but on a way cheaper contract.

A very good man corner, and pairing Blu Kelly with Trevon Diggs would create an upgrade in the secondary for the future. He only allowed a 58.7% completion percentage over four years, a total of 1,500 yards, and 10 touchdowns while creating 13 pass breakups. The way Blu Kelly is able to mirror receivers and stay with them downfield leads to him being extremely sticky in coverage. Blu Kelly also has been willing to help against the run, which would be extremely valuable to the Cowboys on defense.

Pick 169: Jarrett Patterson, Interior Offensive Line, Notre Dame

Pick 212: Matt Landers, Wide Receiver, Arkansas

Pick 244: Carter Warren, Offensive Line, Pittsburgh

To get ahead on securing offensive line depth, and have a player like Warren available, creates a great scenario for the Cowboys. Over his career, Warren has only allowed nine sacks and 91 total pressures while playing 1,662 pass blocking snaps. He easily changes directions, which has helped him when run blocking as well as execute on pulls. His functional strength can be improved, but in this case, he gets to sit for a year and develop, while the Cowboys know they have a player with massive upside if they need him in a pinch.
